ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ Special Education Grant
Two (2) $1,000 grants
Any high school educator* currently employed at a public or private high school in the United States or internationally.
*We invite school social workers, counselors, homeschool educators, test prep professionals, teachers, administrators, etc. to register for free as an ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ educator and begin applying for ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ grants.
Grant Details:
The National Society of High School Scholars (ΒιΒι΄«Γ½) is committed to supporting educators who work tirelessly to meet the diverse needs of their students. To help provide additional resources for inclusive learning environments, ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ is awarding two (2) $1,000 grants to high school educators to support classroom materials, assistive technology, adaptive learning tools, or other resources that help create meaningful learning opportunities for students with specialized needs.
ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ Educators are eligible to receive one ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ grant per calendar year.
Application Requirements:
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Students in special education classrooms often benefit from specialized resources and individualized learning tools. What are 1 to 2 specific ways this grant will help you better support students with diverse needs? What specific tools, strategies, or resources would you use to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment?
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional but strongly encouraged)
- Color headshot
- Professional resume
- Principal/Administrator recommendation
