ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom Grant
One (1) $1,500 award
Any registered ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ Educator* that works with high school students in an academic capacity both in the US and internationally.
*We invite school social workers, counselors, homeschool educators, test prep professionals, teachers, administrators, etc. to register for free as an ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ educator and begin applying for ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ grants.
Grant Details:
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines mental health as "A state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community." Despite the stigma surrounding mental illness, more individuals are sharing their stories and sparking conversations on the subject. ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ wants to aid educators in their positive efforts to spread awareness and effect change regarding mental health in their classrooms. ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ is giving one (1) high school educator a $1,500 grants to provide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources and curriculum to their classrooms.
ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ Educators are eligible to receive one ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ grant per calendar year.
Application Requirements:
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Mental health is widely recognized as a crisis for young people today. If awarded this grant, describe how you would incorporate mental health practices into your curriculum resources and the resources you would purchase, and the benefits they would provide to your students.
- Principal/Administrator recommendation
- Professional resume
