One of the biggest changes I made was learning how to plan ahead. I started using a calendar to map out my week, blocking time for classes, extracurriculars, and personal responsibilities. Seeing everything laid out helped me understand where my time was actually going. It also allowed me to identify gaps in my schedule that I could use for studying, relaxing, or catching up on tasks I might have fallen behind on.
Living on my own has added another layer of responsibility, but it has also forced me to become more disciplined. °Υ³σ±π°ω±πβs no one reminding me to do my laundry, cook meals, or go to bed at a reasonable time. At first, I underestimated how much time these daily tasks would take. Now, I intentionally schedule them into my routine, treating them just as importantly as my extracurricular commitments. This has helped me stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.

Being involved in extracurriculars has taught me how to prioritize. Not everything can be done at once, and ±υβv±π had to learn how to decide what needs my attention the most at any given moment. Sometimes that means focusing on a big project instead of attending a less critical meeting, or choosing rest when I know ±υβm starting to burn out. Understanding my limits has been key to maintaining balance.
±υβv±π also realized the importance of using small pockets of time effectively. Whether Ύ±³Ωβs reviewing notes between activities or responding to emails while commuting, those little moments add up. Instead of waiting for long stretches of free time, ±υβv±π learned to be productive in shorter bursts, which helps me stay on top of my responsibilities.
At the same time, ±υβv±π made it a priority to leave room for myself. Balance Ύ±²υ²Τβt just about getting everything doneβΎ±³Ωβs also about making sure I »ε΄Η²Τβt feel overwhelmed. I try to set aside time to relax, spend time with friends, or simply take a break. This has actually made me more productive in the long run because ±υβm not constantly running on empty.
Overall, managing my time while being involved in extracurriculars and living independently ³σ²Ή²υ²Τβt been easy, but it has taught me valuable lessons about discipline, planning, and self-awareness. ±υβv±π learned that balance Ύ±²υ²Τβt something that happens automaticallyβΎ±³Ωβs something I have to actively work toward every day.
